All about an allotment in Liverpool
A blog to complement my web sites about Liverpool and my allotment.
Easter Monday plans.

Allotment

I shall spend a couple of hours putting some seeds in,  carrots, turnips and brassicas. I have some beetroot seedlings to plant as well. The above view is from the top of my shed yesterday.

House

Another lawn cutting. I am still waiting to put feed/weedkiller down but in the absence of rain it would scorch the grass.

Garden Centre

I am lucky to have a small but well-stocked garden centre within 10 minutes walk. You can buy any amount of plants and garden accessories, but no sheds, furniture or gifts or anything that is not directly linked with growing. I shall go later with my wife to browse. As we wil walk we are not tempted to buy anything we do not need.

Just a note to say that your veg site is excellent. I have not found a site as good for photos and descriptions. Keep up the good work.

What a fantastic site. I have grown all that can be grown in containers this year however I am fortunate to have a large area at the bottom of the garden and that is going to be turned into a veg plot of raised veg gardens and your site has given me what I need to get going. Will keep an eye on your site for more tips its really is well done. Thanks for taking the time.
