The weather after a sunny and warm start turned cold with frequent spells of drizzle which were enough to make one miserable but not enough to wet the soil. I planted broad beans, carrots and mangetout peas. During the spells of drizzle I tidied the shed. It it pleasing to see the plots either side of me being dug and planted.  The sun came out at 4pm and provided a late boost to the plants. I cut the lawn and took the above photo sitting at my computer desk to show that I do spend time on the garden. It is just starting its third year. We moved into a brand new house 2 years ago this month.
